You would get a mail from the giveaway creator with a steam key that you can add to your account.

The best way to do it would the person would send the gift to your email. But they may add you to steam then send the gift as well.

The OP doesn't need to resort to the Support..What he does need is to read the F.A.Q. instead. That's where he will find the answer to his question and probably many more.
