Hey,

I bumped my Steam Trades thread a few minutes ago, and then immediately after I recieved a friend request from someone asking for the copy of LA Noire. I noticed their profile was private so I checked the Steam ID with Steam Trades, it didn't exist in the records. So I asked them what their Steam Trades profile was and they linked me a Steam Trades profile which linked to a different, private steam profile. So I asked why it didn't link to their actual profile, to which they responded by removing me from their friends list.

I tried adding the real user to ask them, but they declined, I guess they were thinking that I had added them over a trade that I had not posted before on Steam Trades. What should I do next?

I don't know, because this user isn't on Steam Trades I couldn't give negative rep, so I'm not sure.

Remove the links in your post; you can get suspended for calling out. Also, you should report him to SteamRep Good thing you weren't scammed.

First, remove the link to the person's profile, it's calling out

EDIT: Nevermind, already done :)

He's just shy talking to new people. He's actually being paid by the person to take the heat for him.
