And this is my contribution for April. Very bundled, but good positive game. Let's see if this time I remember to add another one at mid month.

97% on Steam, I think it's positive enough. Wolves are also cool. Whether it's positive and cool to have a wolf among us, it's up to you.

Positive bump.
Yesterday, my mom came and helped my son and me clear all the oranges off our tree. They're a bit tart, but tasty. I like to use them in brownie and cake mixes instead of water, as they make it a bit more moist and there's just a hint of the flavor to it, once baked. Also nice for juice, and orange cremesicle ice cream (which is lovely and pretty simple).
Do you have a favorite thing to do with oranges, or a favorite type?

I love freezing mandarin... segments? seems to be the name according to google and eating them in summer. I will take them out of the freezer a few minutes before eating. It's like a sorbet :)

I just eat them. I like things with orange, I like sliced candied oranges covered in black chocolate (probably the only thing I prefer over a raw orange), and of course dark chocolate with orange is a classic. Not too fond of orange juice tho. But I love any citric ice cream.
When I was a kid (and as a kid I was quite small; short compared to other kids, and thin like a paper sheet, also pale like a paper sheet) I would get three oranges, cut them in half, and eat them all. No oranges? No problem! I would eat six tangerines instead. All I ask to the oranges and tangerines is to not be acid/sour. I can eat them even if they're not specially sweet. But acid/sour? Nope. My fav variety is navel orange. I also peel them now, and eat only one.
Nowadays I don't eat as much fruit as I did before. I'm very picky with many fruits, they have to be in the exact point of maturation I like, or I don't eat. Also with time, some varieties of some fruits have disappeared in favour of others that give more tons per area when harvesting. Here it's hard to find yellow saturn peaches, which are delicious. Instead we have white saturn peaches, which have double the size and half the flavour. So as decades pass, I simply find less and less fruit that I really want to eat. (I still eat two saturn peaches at a time when they're ok). I hope they don't do anything to pomegranate. Out of season pomegranates are also a disgrace.
Oranges are an hybrid of tangerine/mandarin and grapefruit. I don't like grapefruit. But I like sanguine oranges, which have a few slashes of red colour, as if they were stained with blood.

My mum used to make an orange/mandarin tart (sometimes a cheesecake if the Philadelphia was on sale), it was really nice but a bit time consuming. She'd prepare the biscuit base but soak it in a small amount of orange juice overnight so the result was something firm but agreeably moist at the same time. Then depending on what ingredients we had it was either a modified Madeira recipe infused with citrus syrup and pressed with mandarin segments on top, or jellyfied orange and mandarin layers with a lattice top or a mild orange juice infused cheesecake with a zesty lemon cream topping. I tried to get her to see the possibilities of a white chocolate cheesecake mix but sadly it never happened. I still remember it and still can't bring myself to make it again myself.
It was always a balancing act though, our favourite oranges were navel (cheapest in May-sept) but mandarins are really only affordable here (Australia) in the warmer months (Oct-Feb). Don't get me wrong, Valencia's are fine but they're regarded as a juicing orange here rather than an eating orange.

My favorite thing to do with oranges is just eat them! I love them. I just crack them open and eat them as they are.
My grandma had orange trees and she used to make those little upside down orange cakes that were delicious.
It was kinda like a cross between an upside down cake and a tarte tatin. She used orange juice to make a tangy caramel and put it at the bottom of a muffin tin with a big slice of orange and pour a spiced cake batter on top.
I just loved to turn them over when they were ready. All this yummy orange syrup running all over that little cake. Yum.

speaking of the planet. I used to inject this song into my veins. And it used to make me feel at awe, hopeful for the planet, and also at peace with my insignificance.

I've noticed a rising amount of negative posts and threads lately on SG. From sad and gloomy topics to rants and angry posts, it just makes me feel slightly depressed.
To counter the negativity, I created this 100% positive thread! The one rule of this thread - think and post positively!
Tell me what good thing has been happening in your life, post cheerful gifs, anything really. Let's cheer up those who feel sad, and maintain the mood of those who don't. ^^
Here's a small giveaway to celebrate positiveness: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/HuABS/labyrinthine-dreams [ENDED]
Please note that I did not create this thread to devalue or disapprove of anyone who's posts are negative. Everyone has their share of sadness, anger or depression in life. Matter of fact, this thread is especially created in order to cheer up anyone who may be having negative emotions. :D
