Yay! I don't have much luck getting those with the weekly bonus game so I'm happy to have the opportunity to gather some more. Being from Canada, the Dell store doesn't have as much products as the US counterpart does (I wish there were gaming accessories, like gaming wheels for instance), but I'm hoping to get to a point where I have (at least) 1000$ worth of DRP so I could get a nice additional discount on a laptop. I was eyeing the Alienware Area 51 16inch with a 5080 gpu, but the 18in version is apparently better, cooling-wise(?). Does anyone of you have experience with those laptops and if so, what's your input?

I have no personal experience with Alienware laptops as they're ridiculously overpriced in my country but I like to watch Parts-People Dell Laptop Experts on YT where you get a good idea of the ins and outs of those laptops and how good or bad they are on the inside.

Unfortunately the points expire about 3 months since you get them I think? Which makes it hard to accumulate that much at once. The most I got at once I think was about $300 worth with which I got a cheap laptop to use when traveling.

Could the reward program possibly works differently depending on your region? Each time I get new DRP, the expiry date on Dell's website gets pushed back. Currently, it's September 15, 2026. Once I convert them to Dell dollars tho... I think they have to be used within three months. But I'm not sure, it's been a while since I used some to get a discount.

Yes, it's different. In Europe, or at least in Germany, the DRP are expiring 3-4 months after you got them. Example: Today's (or even all of August's) DRP will expire on Dec 15, 2025 (of course). Always on the 15th of the fourth month after collecting.
Apart from that, I did not find an option to convert the DRP into Dell cash. You simply use the DRP during the payment process. 1000 DRP = 10€ off. Only limit (AFAIK) is that you need to spend at least 100€.
So during the 3-4 months of collecting you usually get between 18k and 25k DRP in total.

Yep, only CA has that 1 year expiration thing, and the expiration prolongs as long you're still active (so if you don't ever stay inactive for 1 year, your DRP almost never expires)

When you open the browser's console you can write scripts for it that interface with the webpage you have open, it's meant for debugging and on-the-fly editing but it can also be used for some minor hacking and automating actions.
On Firefox it's F12 for opening the console, not sure about Chromium-based browsers but I assume it's the same key or another one of the F's.

For the "main" game each month it's probably needed to do some scripting trickery, and maybe also to be geographically close to their servers just to get there in time given how insanely fast they run out keys. But for the indie games it's doable the traditional way, although you need to be there refreshing the page exactly when the time comes since you only have a minute or two before everything is out of stock.

I think that location doesn't matter.
My understanding of current state/process:
- user opens the site and game's page
- user clicks on Claim button
- some request sent from user's browser to AWA
- AWA assign key to user
I assume, this script just skips the first two steps (that are most time-consuming) - it sends the required request directly to AWA server and this request can be sent at 0 second (millisecond) of Vault got opened.
Guys here said that AWA must implement like confirmation from app - I agree on that (some sort of recapture).
I think Lenovo has some good system (if it works like they wrote - users assigned to random position in queue, so it doesn't matter at what point user joined the queue, but I feel like they have like strait queue - "first come, first served")

Lenovo system isn't so good, you need to wait a lot of time (not like normal giveaway, cuz when time will come, you need to click button, if not then counter will reset) and then after few hours you'll know that you had bad luck. It seems like waste of time, better to do that quick and have a clear situation immediately or like normal giveaway.
Confirmation maybe won't be bad, but I don't know if it will really help so much. AWA should rather take care for little more keys if there are so many people wanting them.

About Lenovo - I can agree, it's more like they don't have random place in the queue system.
As far as I remember, AWA has >500K users - so I think it will be almost impossible to cover all these users with keys. Could be raffle can help, but someone 100% will complain about it :) (but at least we'll see how many entries some game has).

However in case of raffle law issues can come, they would need to find a way to make it for all countries. AWA always locking giveaways for example for Poland and saying that's due to gambling laws. but Lenovo somehow can do that, so I don't know how that works.

It's not really needed. I've been able to claim some of the main games and I don't use scripts. It doesn't always work, but it's definitely possible.
I think the mayor issue is the internal captcha they use and probably the luck when refreshing the page. I struggled a lot at first, where I kept getting errors when trying to claim games, but at some point that stopped, still not sure how it happened though.

Probably wouldn't matter much anyway since I can't even get the vault to load anymore when I'm at my PC. Something changed like 3-4 months ago. The site would always load for me before.
