It's been many months since the company behind Indie Royale went bankrupt.
The site is still online, but it's unclear what will happen to it.

Anyone heard anything what will happen?

What will happen to Indie Royale

View Results
Will vanish of the face of the earth and take all their keys with them
It will open shop again next year
Google will buy it

I guess most developers have given up hope as well.
Most still have to get thousand of dollars from IR.

Most developers still "get" or "have to get"?

lol don't worry, I'm nobody to correct English grammar. It is just that it seemed you were saying the opposite and it surprised me.

I suspect that IR will disappear when they know what to do with Desura. They are still looking for a buyer, right?

Hmm, I had better check any keys from there see if I forgot any and move them to a safer location. Yesterday I discovered that BlinkBundle is long gone, lol, I think I used all keys from there....I hope...

It has the title: "Your Blink Bundles" explaining their situation sent on July 14th. Hope this helps or else contact them since Blink Bundle is part of PlayBlink.com, which is online unlike their bundle site.

I already emptied my account of unused keys. I'm still going that someone buys desura, I don't wanna lose my collection.

It's all drm free downloads (and for those not you just install it through the client and rar it up), you could just download everything..

That would be a pain when your library is in the hundreds like mine.

Axel is a little better off, only 50. But still, not something people should have to do.

Oh i know, I have over a 1200 games (including all the free ones which were alot, i even made a list of them, albeit a bit outdated).
First i downloaded everything because i didn't know when and if they would go down, then went through it a second time to check everything and add screenshots, and a third time to rename everything properly, cost me a good 1 1/2 month, it was fun, not.

But if you plan to play them you eventually download them too anyway.

He/she could also just click every single thing through the (crappy) client
and just rar up the whole map that comes out of the installations, he'd have a backup there too. The games don't write in the registry thus you could just unrar them to any other folder.

That is actually my secondary account, the main one has 300, I'm way too lazy to download all of them. I have a 10mbps internet connection, so it would be like an entire day to get all the installers.
I hate that the only way to get faster internet is to move to downtown.

As Delta said, that would be a pain.
My connection isn't that fast.
Edit: damn phone. Hoping, not going.

It's choices in life we make, an entire day i wouldn't find much compared to a month it cost me.
If i were you i wouldn't really count much on it that desura is going to stay or that someone is taking over, my guess it's just there until the server fees are due, else you just have to take your losses.

Even if someone takes over, it already lost so much reputation for it to be interesting for anyone to buy..

That's a good point.
I should at least save the ones that I'm actually interested on playing. I also think that I own a good chunk somewhere else besides desura, I'm pretty sure that all the ones I got from Groupees include a drm-free version.
Time to make an access database... on the weekend... maybe.

Didn't really buy many bundles from them. Sadly, on the last mystery bundle i bought i forgot to go back for half the keys, when i did, around the time the whole bankruptcy thing started, they were all duplicates. Wrote to their support the same day, never got an answer back. Sucks for the people who had more keys than me i guess...
