Hey all. I'm looking for suggestions for a cheap (20-70 €) mobile phone Bluetooth HFP (Hands-free Profile) compatible. Any idea? It's a present I'd like to give to a friend.

Here a giveaway for everyone.

It's a present I'd like to give to a friend. - More like a curse you want to give to your friend.

Why? It's to replace a very basic old phone lacking bluetooth support at all. He is currently using that while driving and I can't do more than gifting this.

Oh, if he only wants phone for talking, then this is the right budget. If he wants to game, then he will be cursed with a phone like that.

Sorry can't help you there buddy.

I don't know much about mobile phones, since I'm still using a Nokia 3110c. Don't you go buy one of this though, I ain't gonna recommend it, and I don't think your friend will appreciate it. lol

Try to look for some chinese mobile phones like Xiaomi, Oppo, Jiake, Elephone (they are good and cheap phones).

You can but them at some online shops. I think you should visit DealExtreme and PandaWill.

Greetings!

It'll be tough to get a cheap smartphone. Maybe Nokia is one of the cheaper ones. You probably have to get an older model though. Or can't your friend get a contract and get their phone for free?

Sony Xperia E... I have it and well, it cannot handle the internet browser but other apps (shakes and fidget, Geocaching, Google Maps, , even smaller games like card games (don't know the english name), etc.) work quite nice^^ Also GPS is very accurate and battery lasts kinda long... together with a data-flatrate perhaps a navigation system (That is my primary use on my bicycle) that can also handle phone calls via free-hands-speaker and has bluetooth...
All in all, fits your requirements and is from a good producer

Perhaps you wanna see if you can buy it on ebay used for ca. 40€, otherwise 70€ new

If he just needs it for talking, don't get him a smartphone. It will a trouble for him for no reason (Eg: Very low battery life).

Yes, he just need it for talking. I wonder whether a non-smartphone can provide this type of bluetooth.
