Hi,
I see a lot of games being given away that seem to be from free giveaways. Like X:Com Enemy Unknown had a promo where they hand out cd keys for free. And there was a flood of those keys being given away here.

So my question is, if it is allowed. I had a few keys from a giveaway myself, and since I have no use for them, I would like to give them away. Can I do this or not?

if the games are available in the list then you can give them away ^_^

This is not always the case. When a game has recently become free, it takes time to remove it from the list.

There isn't a consistent policy on these stuff. People are still giving away exploited GMG Welcome Pack games and pirated <game that shall not be named> keys (both available in unlimited quantities). Some giveaway games get marked as exploited, some get removed from the list, and yet others just get lumped into the convenient bundle category.

Honestly it all still boils down to the faulty CV system. There wouldn't be a need for all these policing if the math had work a different way.

I wonder if getting multiple Xcom keys from that free deal, and giving them away on here is ban worthy xP sounds like an easy way to boost the CV without spending a dime.

afaik it's considered as an exploit to give away games attained from giveaways even attained outside of SG due to the CV.
Many abuse it to attain CV, some of the active SG users report these cases and mod's do take action when proven guilty.
