What does it feel like to win a public giveaway?

The feeling is very good, but i only experienced it once =/

Depends on the game. Winning a game that is placed in many giveaways each day (bundle games for the most part) is nothing like winning a tripple A title or a game you really want. I remember when I won The witcher 2, I was really happy. To this date I have played it for 20+ hours, it is an amazing game.

If you win a game that you really really REALLY wanted, then you are going to scream at your monitor: "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAH!!!!"
But if you won a game that you entered like: "Meh" then you are going to just shrug and enter another one.

when i won a GV when there was 1,652 Entries i was shocked :D

Incredible when you beat over 3000 over people in getting that Saints Row IV.

Then depressing when its a region locked version and they never got the ROW version like they promised. Even more depressing when it got deleted by Support as fake giveaways, since I can't even show that I was technically ****ing lucky.

I won a giveaway of Counter-Strike: Source with about 1.082 entries. I was so happy this day. :D

It feels like crap.
Just kidding. Actually, I just won my first giveaway a few weeks ago. I was shocked and excited but also kind of pissed off because my gaming computer is dead right now... The waiting is killing me. :D

It feels awesome if you joined more than 2000 giveaways and then you win Tomb Raider with almost 6000 entries as your first game. :D

I've only won a few public giveaways and most had less than 1,000 entries except for a few, some of which were multiple copy giveaways.

It feels awesome.

Kinda like having an erection after your 60's.

Well, most of my wins have been in public giveaways, so I can tell you, winning a public feels incredible! It feels even more amazing when you haven't been keeping track of the giveaways you entered and end up winning a game you've been dying to play forever. That's what happened when I won Poker Night at the Inventory, Fortix, and Half-Life 2.

Actually, I knew I entered the Half-Life 2 giveaway before I went to sleep, so you can guess how happy I was to wake up to the game sitting in my inbox, waiting to be part of my library. ^_^
