As for the product ... waste of money.
No way does it support 4K output when dealing with GBX (GameBoy games), DOS, N64, PS1, etc.
The car racing game image (with 2 controllers at the bottom and the game playing on a 4K TV) ... that is Asphalt ... a racing sim for mobile devices ... nothing "retro" about that.
It has only 40 games on it, the 10,000+ it promoted you have to download ROMs for (Google the term 'emulator').
I could go on and on but can't be bothered.

Obvious random aliexpress trash... as Channel28 said, a waste of money. It will work, but the emulation will probably be very crappy. And who knows, what kind of games will even be on it.

There are some reviews on YouTube and also videos of the games.

Well, I never tried this exact box, and while I would not buy it because of the reasons others already mentioned above, it still looks like you can use those gamepads with any pc by just plugging this usb signal receiver in, and so even if box is trash - it's still two controllers for €41.99, which is not so bad (implying that controllers are of decent quality, of course).

I think I might have played a few minutes on this at my niece's house... If it is the same one, I can tell it has tons of old games (PS1, NES, etc.), lots of good classics, and it is easy to install, so it feels like a box for non-gamers which want to give something to their kids without breaking the bank. The controllers aren't great, but work fine.

That said... Forgive me my cynicism, but I am unsure if these games are legally licensed... But anyway, just an observation, which might explain the relatively low price.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2B-aIe5VcG8 I have that one, there are many differences in quality between these sort of items, a good one can emulate up to PSX. Some advertise with Dreamcast and PS2, but i don't know if they exist that could emulate them properly.

I only tried it a few times, always gathered all roms were included, if not then it's still easy to get sets if you know the right places.
I mean if you wanted to turn your steamdeck into an emulation machine, you would have to do the same.

It is pretty decent, i guess, struggling a bit with PS1 emulation. But totally playable. Also lots of games even PS1 ones were included from the box. Controllers are half decent too. Lightweight but everything seems to work. Was it worth 70$? I would say yes, you probably won't be displeased if you don't mind a bit low framerate on the most demanding games. Will try games from more consoles and return. Would i rather have paid double for a better processor which can run PS1 flawlessly? No, probably not since i don't care that much/will play also simpler games.

(BTW the game i tried out was Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, kinda a fast moving game so i guess it isn't that strange that the hardware is struggling)
