You need to install the ESGST addon (don't use the script, it can be slower than the addon).
Once installed, go to your SteamGifts profile, and at the bottom of the left side menu you should see a section for ESGST. Click on settings, there are a lot of options you can set, but I recommend you enable these:
9.9 Early Access
9.10 Followed
9.16 Ignored
9.22 Owned
9.24 Package
9.29 Removed
9.33 Wishlisted
You can click on each item to get a panel on the right side with some basic information on that item and sometimes more options for customization.
Next go to sync, under section 1, select (at a minimum): Owned/Wishlisted/Ignored Games
Under section 2 you need to set a frequency (in days) for each option that you selected in section 1.
After that do a manual sync to get the ball rolling.

I wonder if there is a chance to implement a simple, but very useful feature. That is, a small symbol (in my example a star) that indicates if the game in the giveaway belongs to our wishlist. This feature is especially useful during events or trains, given the large amount of games, and especially for those who, like me, have a very long wishlist. This would avoid having to go to Steam every time to check if the giveaway game belongs to the wishlist.
