For me it would be Final Fantasy VII. I got into videogames because of this game. I didn't understand English at that time yet, so i would just smash the "X" button and find everything without a clue of what was happening. And even tho i didn't understand a single thing I was amazed by that game.
When i played it again i found even more interesting.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords, because despite being buggy, unfinished and with story gaps due to cut content, Obsidian still made massive improvements to the original by implementing simple ideas in the gameplay. It really showed how infantile the Bioware game was. I think it's the only Star Wars game where choosing to be a sith actually means something else than being a kill-frenzy loving bully.
