[Giveaway] - Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare - Region 7 Only - Whitelist required

So I originally put this up as an open give away, and then realised that Activision have region locked the release. So sorry to those who entered before I deleted it. GMG didn't have any regional information on the sale page, and usually they are very reliable in letting you know. I raised a support ticket for clarification but haven't heard anything, so I will just offer it up to my region.

I have recreated it as a level 5+ white list only give away. I don't know how else to manage it. Post a reply in this thread indicating that you are in a REGION 7 Country from this list -> https://support.activision.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/Call-of-Duty-Infinite-Warfare-PC-Region-Definitions#R7

I'll probably visit your Steam profile and see if you have a country listed, and make sure it matches before adding you to the white list. Please don't apply if you aren't in these countries, it will just cause problems for everyone.

What region are you from and how the hell did GMG gave a region locked code? This changes things. I may need to reconsider buying from GMG if they're not telling people about regionally restricting steam keys. If I wanna buy locked steam keys for my SEA buds, I might as well buy them on Steam. Half the reason I bought from retailers is for the region free restriction thing. >.>

I'm from region 7. GMG send you a key based on your IP address region as seen in the response to my ticket:

"Thank you very much for your ticket.

The Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare as stated by the publisher does have regional restrictions. The key you receive when you purchase on our website will be based on your IP address. As long as you are not doing anything to mask your IP, you shouldn't have any issues with your purchase.

We also have a Regional Availability FAQ with more information."

My understanding is that it is Activision has regional locking on Steam that has lead to this (as seen in links like these https://steamdb.info/sub/128368/) which shows that this version of the Steam app can only be purchased, activated and run in certain countries. If you move country I have no idea what would happen, probably can't launch it. Steam will only activate keys if they match the region your IP says you are activating from. Green Man Gaming are just obeying the publishers restrictions providing me with a key that will activate in my region, since they are assuming I am buying for myself, which is most cases is probably right.

I dunno. GMG has a history of being scummy, albeit to a lesser degree than compared to say G2A, CDKey.com, ect. They should've have informed the customer in the first place that the publisher has put a region restriction on their store.

I visited the Activision website with Ctrl + F and did't find China, so I think they should put it as other Asia/Pacific countries in Region 7.

GMG have confirmed that the key shipped it based on the IP used to purchase. I am in Region 7, and was using a Region 7 IP address, so I am only going to add people from countries listed in Region 7 according to Activision's support article (https://support.activision.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/Call-of-Duty-Infinite-Warfare-PC-Region-Definitions#R7). Which means those from China are not eligible. Sorry.

Region 7 means whatever Activion has decided it would mean (which seems to NOT be all of Asia).

However you are level 4, and don't meet the level 5 minimum, sorry.

I'm from China. I checked steamdb and found that the restricted countries in sub 136751, 136750, 128368 and 128027 are most likely to match the so-called Region 7, and China is concluded in the list. (You should know that steamdb has the most accurate information of restriction.)
