i really like sad music. i dont feel sad, but on the contrary, I enjoy beautiful music. for example radiohead or ólafur arnalds. (neo)classic and post-rock often cause pleasant feelings. i dont know much english. therefore, the voice and music are more important to me, not the words. so it doesnt even matter what language the song is in
I often see songs in the "sad" charts, but they dont sound like that (maybe in the lyrics). for example i like these:
well you understand me i think
so if you like any songs, please write. maybe there are good singers in your country?
thx for reading and have a nice day with a good mood! :з

LOST Theme Song gets me every time:
not a bad track, but they stretched it insanely hard. I like to listen to a lot of short different songs
yeah, I linked you the extended version. You should check out the regular version instead.
op and ed from dota anime are really good too. and too short
I don't think the music and claymation video were made to go together but they fit well enough.
Kenna - Hell Bent
I cant to watch it, since the video is closed by the author and besides, this site is blocked in my country (haha dictatorship)
but I listened to the song and I like it, thank you
Radiohead - No Surprises
I'm pretty sure that you're familiar with Joy Division, but I'll link a couple of obvious songs anyway:
Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
Joy Division - Atmosphere
(Although these are downright tragic, not simply sad. Such a perfect depiction of depression in art)
yeah i have Leave Me Alone on my old social page
I heard first song from a friend. this guy also likes to kiss the microphone
this music is quite melodic for me. and I don't feel intense sadness in it, only beautiful
oh thank you! yes that's exactly what I like, these guys are good
Here are few of my favorite sad songs, not sure if they are something you would like though, rly mixbag of local, older, newer:
Buty - Nad stádem koní
Jaromír Nohavica - Mám jizvu nad rtem
Audra Mae - Forever Young
Karel Kryl - Anděl
Alt-J - Something Good
Chali 2na - 4 Be Be
rly hope you enjoy at least one :)
i like Alt-J, their voice and music are interesting and original. but they have more sad music
thank you for sharing czech songs, i liked Jarek Nohavica i think. such videos with live singers are very soulful
I want to learn some Czech, but I have problems even with English haha languages are too difficult for me
i don't know ┐(´Θ`)┌...?True?
To be honest, I am empty when it comes to musical sensibilities.
It's probably a sequela of having stopped listening to music for a long time because of an earthling's vicious self-proclaimed music teacher.
Radiohead - Lotus Flower - YouTube
I feel some kind of dead end.
Perhaps this guy is happy with cucumber cultivation.
Radiohead - No Surprises - YouTube
And it may be my companion because I need water on the plate.
Recently, some people have started to make songs that always bring heavy emotions, but of course the number of views does not seem to increase.
CAUSE of MY DEATH◆ - YouTube
The arrival of the new season of spring is a departure that tells a new life.
When you are no longer at the age of having such a young sensibility, you may feel like a garbage station or a desert.
In any case, I think there are people with various ideas on the earth.
Various expressions should be freely made and respected.
And when there is a feeling of refusal or repulsion in such expressions, there is freedom not to watch.
I hope that the days when the expression and creation itself will not be denounced will continue in the future.
Mili - Iron Lotus / "Library of Ruina" battle theme - YouTube
To switch moods. (Lie)🔥🍬🐰
i really love radiohead so i cant say anything more
wow ◆ぼくの死因◇CAUSE of MY DEATH◆ sound really great, chorus is so strong and beautiful, that it can bring tears to your eyes, this is a real emerald
and ty for Mili, she has interesting good voice. i immediately remembered where i had heard that voice. in the anime, the chorus is especially good https://youtu.be/Q6Ik94T99Ag
i dont remember this song but its good too https://youtu.be/3UJ_mERvw3A it's probably Latin, very beautiful
I hope you will not be sad in the near future, although such phrases have always been empty for me. in any case take a 🥒 for sharing your songs and feelings mr kappa
ah good music, thank you!
Glad you like it. <3
this music is too sad. that I have a lump in my chest
Возможно, не совсем то, но можешь попробовать обратиться к трип-хопу 90-х, там хватает треков со своей особой меланхоличной атмосферой, даже если сами по себе они вполне ритмичные
Archive - Nothing Else
DJ Shadow - Midnight in a Perfect World
UNKLE feat. Ian Brown - Be There
У Zero 7 очень много расслабляюще-грустных композиций, особенно на первых альбомах
И можешь попробовать весь альбом Junk Son - Beginning Ending Pretending, возможно, найдешь на нем что-то для себя
неплохо, но не в моем вкусе
junk son - fool и I'll be so мне понравились
City of the sun
I love this one
unusual music, it looks like post-rock without electronic
My Dying Bride - The Crown of Sympathy
I don't really like such heavy music, but thank you anyway
but there is a lot of good sad rock

oh there are a lot of nice songs here, but I don't like covers
i like miku so bad apple is good. tokyo ghoul is really good. im above is good but not sad. carole and tuesday is good anime sooo of course yes
and.. lol full metal ost in russian? okay unexpectedly, without an accent. this is unusual
Because you have Fullmetal Alchemist anime with anime original ending and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood with true manga/light novel ending. This song is from this first version of anime.
I like english covers because when I listen music without lirycs I don't understand song. ^^
A few of mine...
Gabriel Mann - When We're One
The Cranberries - 21
R.E.M. - Why Not Smile
3 Doors Down - She Don't Want the World
i like the last song
I can't help but suggest "I need some sleep" by Eels. Noy only because it's my perpetual mood, or because it was in the Shrek 2 soundtrack, but because it's a honestly good song, even if a bit short (IMO)
yeah i think this is a good song
Maybe my songs are not sad, but I like lyrics like these ones:
Five Finger Death Punch - Far From Home
Disturbed - The Sound Of Silence
I also saw someone recommended In Flames for you, but i think this song maybe is closer to you
In Flames - Metaphor
not sad enough for me but thank you, the last one is the best
For sad metal, I'd recommend To/Die/For. It's been a long while since I've listened to them, but here's a link for a playlist with one of the old albums.
oh wow beautiful music, i really like these songs so much
David Bowie + Maynard James Keenan
(Also Milla Jovovich on background vocals.)
david bowie is strange man, but the song is good
I rarely listen to such artists or even never
Unravel from Tokyo Ghoul, and Hurt by Johnny Cash (even though I prefer the original one from Nine Inch Nails) have already be mentioned so I skip those.
My list to share:
Green Day - Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Eminem - When I'm Gone
Default - It Only Hurts
Army of Me - Going Through Changes
DI-RECT - Hold On
Korn - Freak on a Leash
NoisyCell - Last Theater
Maybe not so sad instrumental wise, but sad lyrics:
Default - All is Forgiven
Three Day Grace - Animal I've Become
Ashes Remain - On My Own
Say Anything - Death for my Birthday
I have a whole lot more in my playlist, but most of them are like the second half of my comment (just sad lyrics).
oh Green Day - Boulevard of Broken Dreams is a good nostalgia
NoisyCell - Last Theater is good for me too
by the way Three Day Grace - Animal I've Become sounds great
The best music is the one with no lyrics most of the time. It leaves the person to question stuff themselves (use imagination) than instead of being hand-guided by someone, not to mention alot of the voices included into music simply ruins the instrumental and has no connection to it.
There are masterpieces with voice included obviously, but the chances are... that quite alot of music gets ruined with people singing over the tune because they think "cool beat" so therefor my lyrics will sound cool and make sense. This is probably why we see alot of repeated verses in music nowadays as musicians attempt to find something that goes along with the beat. A good bunch of the mainstream music for the last decade or so follows that golden rule, older people often say music nowadays has less quality than in older days.
Here's some masterpieces with voice:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCwjV39s3WU (it has some bits of voice in the music)
Prime examples of why music with no voice hits harder 95% the time:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXPy00L1ecM (instrumental, original has voice)
Could easily make a list with 100 examples, but i think this should be enough to get the point across.
we can say that there is less soul in modern music. because now everything is done by electronics. although this does not prevent me from enjoying breakcore... nevertheless, classical music and opera go well together. as well as sad music with a high voice
I've listened to linkin park and music from matrix very often before
Arto Lindsay - Ridiculously Deep. hah. I like. you listen and feel some unusual atmosphere in this, this drum game and guitar, I like it
Oh! Interestingly, I was reading this morning about Gloomy Sunday, which is an Austrian song associated with suicide. It is said that many people committed suicide or wrote suicide letters to the sound of this song, but apparently it is just an urban legend (despite the author, Rezső Seress, having committed suicide many years after composing it... but I don't think so there is a relationship between one thing and another).
The composition was inspired by the Great Depression in Europe, in the first half of the 20th century.
perhaps this music is not as murderous as lavender town. but it's still elegant
If the lyrics don't matter then I would listen to Sæglópur by Sigur Ros. They're icelandic and the singer isn't speaking in any particular language so it's all about how the "words" sound
the beginning is deceptive. I really like the song, thank you
