Classic LAN game: Unreal Tournament

Rise of Nations, Age of Mythology, Ground Control as RTS
Unreal (as co-operative), Unreal Tournament, Quake 3, Tribes and maybe Tribes Vengeance as FPS

AoE 3 , L4D2 , Killing Floor , Company of Heroes , World In Conflict , CoD 4 these are pretty much my go to's when I head out to the net cafe with a group of around 8 or so

Gang beasts, It's hilarious when played with friends. It's free too.

I 'waste' most with my friends on Call of Duty: World at War - Nazi Zombies. This game is so much fun, can play maximum 4 players, thats when i played, maybe now can play more :)

Mashed is a fun Micro machines style racer. I know it's not in the preferred genre but it's great

When we did our lan parties, im talking about 10 people (LOL wasnt around back then).

Starcraft 1 <----- And 2 now, you dont actually need to play the game itself, there are a lot of custom games

We had a projector, and we used to do tournaments of Street fighter 3

Any Dogfight game should be allright.

Risk (on computer, since its faster).

We used to play Cod WAW zombies.

Edit. Quake III Arena never fails neither.

Bomberman on a snes emulator. (we are all oldschool, we all started in either nes or arcades)

Maybe Halo CE.

I organise small (25 peepz) LAN parties since 2005, our gaming clan usually focuses on rts and fps as well.
Flatout 2 is still our most succesful lan game, great fun to compete. Even if you dont really like racing.
Last LAN we also played a lot of UT2004 (deathmatch), Gas Guzzlers Extreme, Trackmania, Split/Second, COD2 (1 vs 1 rifle only), DOTA2 and Fifa13 on a ps3 (we have a livingroom with a tv at our lan location). All games that support LAN.
I've seen some of our group play one of the old C&C, Warcraft and Starcraft games as well but I dont know which.
If you have good internet you have way more options.

We have our next event next October (in Holland)
