Hey, has anyone else had trouble downloading stuff from GG? Obviously not Steam items, but for those few games that are direct downloads. I grabbed the Crysis Collection from them since it was on sale (just under 14 bucks) and appears to be non-Origin. Not Steam, either, but at least standalone --The Origin version of Crysis 2 Maximum can't be modded, so this looks like the best bet, and it's not on sale on Steam.

Anyway, I'm using that download app they've got, and it keeps getting disconnected. I resume (again and again and again), apparently successfully, but ultimately the massive files are corrupted.

So, figured I'd see if anyone else had experienced problems with this before I try to figure out what to do next.

i downloaded games from GG on my mac before and never had problems...

if it exists the chance to dl without the propietary downloader, try with a decent browser, or even better with a downloader sw (for instance speed downloader on os x)

Been using gamersgate for a while now. Never had any issues with it.

I only managed to successfully download small indie games from there. When I tried to play a game via Void (a big one about 8 Gb in size) I simply could not download it as I was disconnected every now and than, but that could have been my ISP problem and now I have a new one with much higher speeds. Still have to try and determine on who's end the problem was, however.

Yep. I bought a couple of games over christmas from them. Regardless of the shambles with their prices, their download service is unuseable for me (i have a very slow connection and it would take days to download from them. It rarely lasts an hour.

If you message them about it, they say that it's your fault and that you should try somewhere with faster access.
