So today i was looking throughout the store and saw TomClancy's H.A.W.X.....and fall in deep meditation...flashbacks filling my mind.
I love flight/space simulators and really enjoyed the two HAWX games. So what do you think about them guys? Are they still capable to "give the chills" after this time? :)
.PS: does anyone have coupons for them?
.PPS: also post your thought on JASF or if anyone played the old SCO or ACE Online/AirRivals or any of the private servers...good old times

I've played HAWX demo on the PS3, you where able to do the most crazy shit, turn off your motor and freefall a few KM down, then start it up when you get too close to the ground take off again.

Then I bought it on PC and it was like I was playing a totally different game. Everything I liked from the PS3 demo wasn't in the game. I feel ripped off because of it...

Not sure if they decided to scrap those things, or there is a major difference between the PC and PS3 version.

if you have a quad core @2.8GHz or better you can use an emulator so you can play it on PC as the PS version ;)

HAWX 1 I liked and kinda found fun, HAWX 2 seemed liked a step backwards. A lot of people seem to hate JASF with a passion and looking at it I feel unimpressed. Played it on console mind you and ubisoft games have a habit of being radically different from PC and Console.

Oh btw if you get the demo for HAWK 1 there's a few mods that enable a fair chunk of functionality of it ;)

How about Strike Vector? Not a simulator but still epic Aerial Combat.
