Hotline Miami savegame problem

Hi, so, straight to the point.
Whenever I shut down Hotline Miami after playing, my progress seems to be partially deleted. As in, I can still choose any of my unlocked masks, but I have to replay from the start, including the tutorial. Is it supposed to be this way? Is there any fix to it? Thanks and merry christmas!

It's not a problem with the save. Look at the menu. You can see that there is Chapter Select or something like that. HM doesN't have a continue option, but you can select the next chapter, which you have unlocked :)

EDIT: There is START GAME, which stands for new game, and there is CHAPTERS, which will let you to progress through the story :)
