it doesn't sound like you know how steam guard works. it's not every site, it's every user agent. so each of these requires its own steam guard verification code:

  • steam on your desktop
  • steam on your laptop
  • firefox on your desktop
  • firefox on your laptop
  • google chrome on your desktop
  • google chrome on your laptop

these things share the same code:

  • steamcommunity.com through firefox on your desktop
  • steamgifts.com through firefox on your desktop
  • steamtrades.com through firefox on your desktop
