Thoughts? I felt it was starting out slowly compared to other episodes. Not finished yet, but I won't check back here until I do, lest I be sorely disappointed.

I'm at the beginning.
Didn't think the alternate timeline scenes would have much emotional impact on me, since I don't like Chloe.
How wrong I was :/

Spoiler
I went for the euthanasia option at the end of the scene

So, just finished it.

Two things:

  • either I took my sweet time, or it's long. Probably both :P
  • and you're in for a ride.

Finished it an hour ago. This was more intense than that M. Night Shyamalan movie where the ghost realises at the end that he is actually Bruce Willis.

Hmm just finished it.
The plot-twist was certainly unexpected, but the clues were cleverly hinted through out the game.
Gonna fun replaying the story with a new mindset after finishing the whole game.

But for now the waiting game is on!

Finished it today. Honestly felt it was lacking compared to the other episodes, with fewer choices, more of a hard slog through conversations with characters (which is good in its own way,) fewer time puzzles. I choose to view this as a set-up for the last episode, which hopefully ties everything together.

I don't know. I've thought the person shown at the end would be tied up in things, so that didn't come off as a big surprise, but I also figured Rachel was "lost in time" somehow. Call it a wash? Saving Alyssa from a foam noodle was lovely though.

What I love about this game is that thee choices actually matter, unlike in many Telltale games (which many people consider the standard). And in Episode 4 you finally see the consequences of your past decisions.

I agree with the criticism regarding several dialogues in EP4, since many of them do feel like small-talk (Samuel, Mrs Grant etc).
But I think the plot-twist and revelations easily compensated the episode's shortcomings.

I'm really curious how DONTNOD will conclude the story. The LiS Steam forum is literally buzzing lol.

Agreed. I realized when I was talking to Samuel and Mrs. Grant that I was actually bored. And Samuel is like my number one pseudo-perv go-to guy. For me, he's the Tommy Wiseau of this game.
