No, I remember the Doom games. It was much simpler than that. It was seriously just a screen with platforms and ladders connecting them, and you just kept climbing.

Unfortunately no I don't. I think I was 4 at the time so I don't remember much of it. All I really remember was that I had it on a floppy disk and had to put the disk in every time I wanted to play lol

A list of 3.1 games. As Vassay said, it looks like Lode Runner is a great fit. You can see it on the site.

Okay, so I've been trying to remember it lately, but I really can't. I have no idea what it's called. I was pretty young when I played it, and can't remember much about it. All I remember, was that I had it on my first computer running Windows 3.1, and from what I recall, all you had to do was climb a bunch of ladders and fight off a few enemies. It was a really simple game, but I remember it bringing my young self tons of enjoyment. Anyone remember it or know what the hell I'm talking about?
It was seriously just a screen with platforms and ladders connecting them, and you just kept climbing. If I remember correctly, you just kept climbing and going higher and higher. The goal of the level wasn't seen on the screen when you started, so you had to go above the top of the initial screen. Each level was longer and you just kept climbing higher and higher. there may have been a speed increase for the bottom of the screen moving up also, but I don't remember
The game was Runner
