Hello. I would like to remind you how Steamtrades is broke thanks to this guy: https://steamcommunity.com/id/steamgamesales/
No, I'm not saying about bugs, but about shit in there.
Yes. THERE ARE NO admins on Steamtrades.
THERE ARE plenty people using bots, many accounts, scamming.
What is wrong with you cg. You forgot you are developer of steamtrades?
I got 3 minus reps from one person. Because I told him that using multiple accounts (and using bots) in not allowed on that site. So he gave me -reps.
I thought they will be removed by using "Vote on Reviews" by help of people.
But what about paying fucking people to keep those reps. Yes. That guy paid people to make those rep stay on my profile.
Of course I contacted Support.
They just simply closed my ticket because it's not their problem.
BTW This happened to this guy too >deleted link<
So, let me say this to you cq:
Comment has been collapsed.
Just use barter. It'll take you a few minutes to understand and get used to. Once you do you'll have none of the problems your talking about.
I prefer barter.vg or IndieGameSwap.
Barter also has a Discord channel where you can ask questions.
I fart in your general direction.

No way, that would make sense and stop new users from going there to get spammed and scammed, who would want that? :P
"Here's a part of our site that isn't a part of our site at all that we just link to as a part of our site but it really isn't"
Glad someone said it, at this point i feel like a broken record.
it's a sister site, it can be accessed from SG. yet it's not moderated, it does not protect its users with its current system and still cg pretends they were not directed there from a certain button on top.
it would decrease unnecessary tickets and boards by a little.
That would make too much sense. It needs to be linked to feed fresh meat (aka green newbies) to the reseller trolls there.
Nice to see that asshole is still doing the same thing and nobody cares. People will just tell you there can't be any problem since the couple 1000+ users can just trade with each other and there is no need for new users.
So just stop using that pile of shit and it will die on its own, leave it to the scam bots to spam each other.
since op isn't banned, I assume cg didn't see this topic yet. Otherwise I will believe he is incompetent to manage steamgifts.
I would agree that after recent changes we can finally separate both sites and close down any of such threads
but why should op get banned?
cg the wish granter 💟
wow they actually removed the link from the top menu now... o_O
how long till they delete the hosted site for that,. i wonder.
Steamtrades has gotten steadily,. less useful - mostly because of multiple users using bot accounts to spam their threads.
Not sure if it's the same user you're complaining about, but at any point in time there's usually about 10-12 "trades" up by the same user, constantly getting bumped.
Why exactly don't we have any moderation on steamtrades again?
Cuz exactly no one in the administration gives a shit about it.
There are only ever a maximum of three threads open per user. Not 10-12.
Aye i know - but that's 1 user, with multiple accounts,. and you'll see them all ;)
Yeah. That's fair. I don't know how widespread that really is, but it definitely happens.
Not too bad, but at least 1-2 users doing it, so together they can flood most of the first page. (and so and then do exactly that)
I've been looking into barter, but it's quite bad imo,. trades just get declined without any further correspondence like they expect you to just bid twice what something is worth.
I've been having some decent luck with the fanatical discord channel, and i've set up another myself with around 175 users so far (and needs to grow a bit).
How much are you paying him for a good website here? No one needs to do free labor for you. People can abandon free projects as many times and as quickly as they want.
Look, it sucks. You have a site you like to use, you can't. Well, then either put up with it or quit. Or offer your own services to the person for free, like cg's already doing it.
Better yet, just make your own site. Work for free on it indefinitely and there's no problems. Easy peasy.
Seriously very bad interpretation. It's not about me. Many players are having problems with site because of bots spam and manipulating votes.
If you think cg is doing this for free so I think it's time to disable your adblock
Sorry, I don't have access to cg's AdSense account. I'm glad you do though, let me know how much he's making compared to the server costs, so we'd finally know what fortunes he's making.
Also, it's absolutely about you. You're the one complaining. If it was about others and they were all in such a tiff about it, wouldn't they write instead? Your complaints are how you got -reps and stuff.
I'm not sure why I even commented. If a person's first instinct is to just yell and scream, then why even bother. You asked for other sites, you were given them and you basically say "that's shit" or just ignore it. Like, what's the point. You don't want an alternative and you're pretending to be a representative of the trading community.

Has there ever been recruitment for ST mods? I bet there are plenty of users here who would like to see it as an actually functional site and thus would volunteer for the job. Or did they all quit because it was too much work and nobody else wanted to do it either back then? It makes very little sense to complain that people aren't doing anything if they aren't allowed.
Well, first you have this, available for you right now. But after that literally public jury system for moderation, I don't know what you think can be modded? Like scams? Well, again, the voting system, which is moderated by all users. He got his word in. Though, yeah, not sure why those reviews haven't popped up for other people to moderate yet.
But also, why not just use Barter or LesTrades?
That voting system is the source of the problems, not a solution. You do realize that it would be trivial for any Russian bot farmer to put in thousands of votes for anything they want? A human mod could detect this and also punish users for breaking the rules constantly which now is happening never.
Because those sites are for trading game for game which I have very little interest in any more. Also Barter has a horrible UI that's fine for people with 1 game to trade. Lestrades is just Barter with better UI and last time I tried it gave even less trades than Barter. They are simply too much work for too little gain, that's why.
