Yeah, I liked the second one too. :)
Also, did some more. It's mesmerizing how one word can entirely change the whole setup.

When you add beards and Die Hard is a Christmas move you get some cool stuff.

I'll see what I can come up with later and make a new post. I do want them to be a little bit interesting though so the results might still be too odd :P

Cool stuff, but unsurprisingly not that easy to master, for sure gonna look more into this AI art thing now. Couldn't come up with anything amazing without diving into guides and wikis and I also quickly ran out of "credits" lol, but here's some of my pics I liked the most:
Forgot to add the one that turned out the best lol, edited.

I really cant decide which one I like the most, maybe the 3rd one?
Not sure if I need to make a new post for these but here they go
Prompt was "astronaut cat, christmas, presents, milky way" used the stable diffusion website since i run out of credits on nightcafe

With inpainting, you can ask tool to paint only partial section of the image. In my example, I wanted new face for the cat so that are was inpainted.

I run Stable Diffusion locally so I have no experience on Nightcafe. I think some of the web sites also provide inpainting feature, though. I had great difficulties getting it work in the beginning but it is easier now. I set strength factor depending on how great changes are required. Larger changes, like creating completely new content, need higher strength. Also, in more complex cases, I might do multiple rounds of inpainting. Like in your example, the left one has lots of noise in the face but the right one already has clear features. I could then use the right image as a new base image for next round of inpainting which likely produces better results.
In the end, it still quite hit or miss approach for me. Still learning the ropes and random factor is a major contributor in the process. Cannot remember the prompt anymore but I had to make couple iterations to get that one. Hopefully in the future, I can be more in control and rely less on generating dozens of images in the hope of getting one good one.

Well, first the two successful-ish ones. (Prompt was "cat, christmas hat, christmas tree, space suit, planets, space helmet".)
Then the less successful one. XD (Hover over images for my attempts at jokes.)

Introduction
Ever saw contests where people are asked to draw an image of something. And you really want to be part of it, but you know you can't draw a straight line with the help of a ruler? That's basically me.
But worry not, technology finally gives us a hand! Fresh from the oven, deep learning AI algorithms that generate realistic looking images in seconds. Scary that the thing we thought for so long as human-exclusive* - art - turned into something that can be automatically generated. Sucks for all the people that are taking art comissions or make landscape images. When DALL-E 2 (and similar algorithms) get better, they may end up jobless.
*I know elephants and such can smear paint on canvas
This brings us to the event I thought for this Christmas. I want you to "draw" a space cat. Theme is Christmas. Presents, Christmas trees, Mariah Carey, sledges.... basically anything Christmas-related. The only catch is that you will "draw" with use of DALL-E (or any other AI of your choice). I don't want people to show off their amazing drawing skills. I want chance for people like me to shine this year :D Look at this year box event banner to see how it should look like.
Rules are as below:
(It's more of a thinking-imagination than drawing-ability contest. In general, the more detailed the phrase, the better the image turns out)
How to attach image: You must have URL that ends with .jpg or .png, you can get it when you right-click image and pick "Open Image in New Tab"
Code format:

Prize:
Things to consider:
Am I BL giveaway check
Some images I quickly generated and give verdict if I think it qualifies:
(While top left image is really good and cute, it's not a Space Cat.. The other three are disturbing and out of theme.)
Let's see your creations! :D
