Tera will be F2P....anyone surprised?

I laughed when I saw some of the characters' outfits.
Coming from me, that's not a good indicator.
People seriously paid for that? xD

I've given it a try through Gaikai and it looked quite good. Anyway, a fresh MMO with such a huge subscription fee was fated to die or become and F2P.

stopped video at about 2min20 seconds when I realized this is a P2W and not a F2P game...

Never heard of that game...

Now mainly all games which have subscriptions, become F2P. They don't have anything new, what would be worth paying :(

Honestly I liked Tera during beta but didn't want to pay a subscription. Too bad I got GW2 now.

I will probably play it from time to time... but i love GW2 too much to leave it.

People actually payed 50 euros a month to play that crap?
And I thought the case of people buying CoD over and over was insane.

How is it wasted money if they got to play the game until now? That's like saying buying a $50 game is a waste of money when it goes on sale later on anyway. It's not like you can compare the price of something when the situation is entirely different.

That said, I might check out the F2P version. I played the TERA trial a while back and while I didn't like the uninspired level design and the bog-standard questing, the combat was pretty fun.

Considering it was originally conceived and developed as a F2P game that was later converted midway through the dev cycle to P2P. I assumed this would happen a bit sooner actually.

finaly,i waited for this few months

Pre-ordered it and played for about 2 month, this is not a surprise, I got my money's worth in that time already, time to move on and not touching it again.
