If you don't mind subtitles, SE asia has some of the best. Korea has the best tv shows, but china might have the best movies (Even if you don't like random B movie kung fu)

If you are fan of anime then there is no point of telling anything. There is too much of it and you can find on the internet incredible big ammount of rankings, lists etc. with it.

Deadwood. Still the measuring stick I use to rate all other shows.
