you also registered 3 weeks ago, that is not so much, some people won several games during that time, some like me take more than a month even though they are daily present. For the strategy, i don't have any as i only join the games i want to play and by chronological time of end of the giveaway
One of the way to won more is doing what you just did. Creating a topic to make you more known so that people will check your profile, and notice you are a generous people and add you to your wishlist just like i did^^

Be active on forum, do puzzle's, more puzzle's, beside that you need to be very lucky, but I am sure consider on your generosity, karma will give you back as much =)

So far, i won three times (for more than a hundred try)

To be hones, I stopped bothering with public gibs long ago. These days I join only group ones, and occasionally private ones.

Seems it's already been said, but clicking the enter button tends to work out well, sooner or later.

I only enter for games that I really want (which lately has been "nearly nothing since the backlog is too big"). In general I'd say my best strategy for winning is... well... not caring. XD

It is pretty much out of your control how much you win. Obviously statistically you'd win more by entering more, but that's not a guarantee since luck is still involved and there aren't always a lot of giveaways for stuff that you'd like. So when you just stop caring and let it happen on it's own it makes the times when it does happen all that more impactful (it also really helps that you can't get stressed over not winning a 5 copy giveaway with 6 entries if you didn't bother remembering that you entered :P ). Solving puzzles and stuff would probably help too, but it's better to do those because you enjoy solving puzzles rather than because you expect to get a win out of it.

I enter whats on my wishlist, (and sometimes some other stuff that looks good). Beyond that just enter as often as I can. I try to check back hourly if I'm around, for people who do the flash giveaways (Which is what I generally do myself).
I've started to scan the topic for bday, some of a jigsaws, etc.

Beyond that, just keep trying. Sooner or later your number is up.

puzzles, trains, giving and being nice I think, to occasionally end up on ppls whitelists ^^
