Zero interest in Squad, but Slay the Spire is easily worth $12 alone, even if I already own it. A handful of other games, whether I keep them or not, makes this a good deal to me.

Usually it's due to having some of reveals. And when there's multiple it's fairly easy to trade ones you miss.
If I bought myself, I'd always lose on value or have to find buyer - which is kinda pita and time consuming.

I want Slay the spire but I rather not get Squad tho, not my type of game. If not I'll just pause this month perhaps. Past couple of months been pretty good. I might had gotten this month straight had it not been an FPS as a reveal. I paid 12 months last Dec was thinking 6-7 bundles a yr so it'll take 2yrs but it seems I'm running close to more than 6 bundles a yr. Already gotten 6 bundles this yr. :D Pretty good yr for reveals for me, Cant say much for the unreveals tho. Hahaha XD

I did that year thing for 99 and I did do a few so I think I am good till feb or maybe March now but I am still indifferent if I will get this one, but maybe I’d hand of fate is really popular I could always trade it if I personally don’t want it. But not sure if I want squad at all, I never tried it during the free weekends so no idea how it runs. I always had issues with UE4 engine games.

If you want Slay the Spire, likely your best chance either by buying the bundle and selling the remainig (as I heard Squad is pretty sought-after) or buying StP from a split - got mine from an early one for 4€. Maybe a bit overpaid, but still a great price for the game :)

I've been getting these offers fairly regularly since I accidentally unsubscribed earlier this year. It's not every month, so I suspect it depends on how well the bundle is selling. No idea if you can get the discount by pausing, sorry!

Guess that means there's no way that I could use this coupon for the October bundle instead - even if I act quickly on Sept 6 - right? The autocharge dates are: 30 Aug (for the September bundle which will be released on 06 Sept) and 27 Sept (for the October bundle which will be released on 04 Oct). These bundles are already paid. So basically the answer to your question is a)
But just to be sure, you could also check your payment history, count the months you already paid for and substract that from your subscription plan.
If you want to continue the subscription and get the November bundle too, you will need to resubscribe before 01 November actually, not 25 October, which is just the autocharge date for the November bundle.

I might be wrong as I'm a month-to-month customer, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean that September and October Monthlies are paid. It means that two more Monthlies are paid, but you still can choose which Monthlies you want, pause a few months and extand your subcription.
If you don't do anything, September Monthly will be paid next week (August 30) and October Monthly will be paid September 27. Then at the next billing date, October 25, you won't have "credit" anymore, your subscription will end and you won't get the November Monthly unless you buy it through a new subcription from October 25 to November the 1st.
But if you don't like Squad/Slay the Spire, you can pause for a month (do it before August 30), and the info on your picture will become "Subscriber perks : Inactive" (meaning you won't have access to Humble Trove and 10/20% off on the Humble Store until you buy another Monthly), "Resubscribe before : November 29", "Monthly credits : Your next month has already been paid!".

Subbed for the current month + had an old hb account where it also offered to re-sub for 9$ so i had the "brilliant" idea to buy a sub with that account and add to the same account via gifting. Was confused after i did that as it re-send a mail i already received a day ago. I'm now quite certain good since i already paid the initial sub for the current September and "added another 1 month sub via gifting". Thank you as well for your checking.

This is exactly correct. The lack of early reveals means that the bundles are selling and they chose early unlocks that appeal to people.
HB wants to restructure things with the monthly already and if the HB monthly isn't producing good enough sales consistently they will change model and I really don't think the majority will like what it shifts to.

If the current structure of the HB monthly doesn't put up the numbers I believe they will restructure the HB monthly. As to what they would change it to you could look at the polls that were sent out to HB monthly customers asking them about different choices for the monthly and if they would buy it. I believe it would be restructured to less games for about the same price but you get to pick which games you wanted out of a select lot of games.

Ultimately I think the HB monthly gives great value for $12. Even if I don't like all the games I feel like I've gotten $12 worth. I'm hoping that it continues to do well and we don't see more early reveals.
