Guinness World Records Announce the Top 50 videogame endings

Call of Duty is now known for it's incredible storylines?
I'm sure it was such an emotionally gripping ending, undoubtedly it left the players in tears they were so overwhelmed.

Much as I love everything Mario, it barely had an ending. Great game? Sure. Historically significant game? Undeniably.
Great ending? Not so much.

Fallout 3 being listed is almost as odd, that's probably one of the more famously bad endings in the last half decade or so. I'm not sure I've ever heard anyone who didn't hate it.
And given how nonsensical it was and completely at odds with what happened during the actual storyline previously I don't believe that even people who did like it could honestly deny that it was very poorly written.

On a personal level, I had to really think about this but in the end I'd have to say Fallout 1 was probably the most enjoyable and satisfying ending for me. Perhaps the original Knights of the Old Republic would be second.
I'm not certain the latter would be an all time great ending in a truly impartial measurement, but it worked well for me.

The best ending amongst games released in the last year or two would go to Solatorobo: Red the Hunter on the DS.

Oh well, this list consists of console titles and we all know that console gamers are either kids or idiots. Nobody in their right mind would choose to give up controller precision and UI usability for... ability to play the game without setting up the options... Yeah, I don't understand consoles.

I feel really awesome about Black Ops. Just hardly hate idiotic people that think like that "HOW THE FUCK IS BLACK COCKS NUMBA ONE?!?!? IT WAS THE SHITTIEST GAME KNOWN TO MAN KIND!!!!". Its has best Singleplayer since MW1. Ofc, its not best ending ever. For example B:AC will just rape BO ending. And its only one example from thousands.
