Why are VR games always so expensive?

[Tier 1] After the Sale is Before the Sale. I'm on a budget here in between Autumn and Winter events and I'll pick up whatever I can get for the lowest price.

[Tier 2] Expensive? No, not at all! ~$3.5 per game is a great deal, it's basically buying these at a 75% - 85% discount which they will probably never reach during a Steam sale.

[Have] I swear, I'm DOOMed. Why does everything I buy full price get bundled a few weeks / months later?

[Skip] We don't need these games. Dig Harder, IGN, for more interesting deals.
