Nice, yeah I didn't know about either of these. Hopefully I can get both since I have 2 computers, one with ATI one NVIDIA

because it's not publicly advertised anywhere anymore. the only places where you can find out about that are forums like this (and steam's own forum ofc)

Thanks kenny. I actually didn't find out until now. Oh well HL2DM is one of those games bundled in CSS, TF2, HL2 I don't even wanna find out how I got it.

dumb question, but what if you already have a steam account, will this still work? I just built my gaming pc a month ago and didnt know about this but did buy the orange box.

as long as your graphic card wasnt already used to enter either of these promos, it will work.

Steam can look at what graphics card you have but you CAN use the same one more then once for sure. 'If' it looks at your IP address you can easily you a proxy, and if it looks at your MAC(Computer Identifier) address you can easily change it. Seeing as it's more then a year old and for a limited time only I doubt Valve cares enough to delay people 5 minutes to get the free games if both are the case.

I would expect it uses the same hardware profiling system as Steam Guard does.
