One of the DLC's appears to be free already (at least on Steam) but the other one which is the first expansion set is over $10 alone, so a good bonus.

Do these DLC change the game - I mean, should I play first without them, or should I play first with them?
Can they be optionally added/removed?

I've been getting the free Epic giveaways each week since it began but I didn't check for DLC. Are there any other titles that were previously free I should be checking for free DLC?
