How do you exchange for diamonds? I didn't see that option pop up. Heard of it before. Did you use a computer or phone/device?

I'd tell you to send a support ticket, but you'd probably get no response. As things are, diamond quests might turn to be just a waste of time if anything gets stuck in the way. I've been years without doing any, I don't know how other people are doing currently with regards to those.

No, not really. Many "game" keys are duplicate and the support will only give you loot packs as compensation which most of the time contain worse items than a game. Coins are a waste of time and you should only stick with the daily login to get some diamonds.

It's a waste of time to start with Lootboy now unless maybe you are in Germany or Austria. The promo offers which were the best value on Lootboy are restricted to 2 or 3 countries now.

Coins also have zero value. They can only be exchanged for lootpacks which might drop a few diamonds, but too little to make it worth bothering with it.

You need 125 diamonds to buy a pack that drops a game. You are most likely to get an overbundled cheap game worth a few cents.

I would concur with the other respondents, right now investing too much effort into LootBoy just doesn't work out, even if you are from Germany/Austria imo. With the site in limbo now coming close to 6 months, seemingly one step away from total collapse but still limping on, it's become extremely difficult to get a significant amount of diamonds from anything other than the offer walls....which in turn makes participating in those offers more dicey because you don't know if the site will survive (or even payout) once you complete them.

That leaves just the daily login rewards & daily quest if you just use the website. If you're prepared to use the app you can get a small amount of diamonds each day by watching ads for the diamond video lootpacks. If you want more you can watch 6 ads to get coins which then opens the option to watch more ads to get diamonds (I never thought it was worth it to be honest and don't do it myself). Without regular codes or competitions you can see there really isn't a huge stream of diamonds anymore, 14 per week if you do the daily login, 7 (+1 each day) for the quest and on the app anywhere between 5-25 per day (theoretically more but in reality I've found its 5-8/9 on a good day, often it's just 5).

As you can see unless you take a chance on the offerwalls it will take you time to earn diamonds. A single lootpacks is 125 diamonds, you can buy them in multiples but the best value is the 25 packs for 2500, which is the price-per-pack the lootpacks used to be. Be wary of the Steam supreme pack as it does not actually guarantee you a Steam game!!, it refers to the (slim) chance for getting a Steam wallet code, the game you receive otherwise is I'd say 75-80% a Steam key but you could also get a GOG key or even an itch.io game. And the vast, vast, majority of the Steam games are mostly older bundled games that frequently end up in Fanatical mystery bundles or even $1 bundles. Caveat emptor applies.

(And as others have indicated Lootboy had issues with duplicates at the best of time, with some regions affected more than others, I haven't encountered any duplicate yet but many here have. It seems to have gotten worse with the site in a death spiral and the one thing that seems obvious now is that support will not meaningfully respond to any problems you have).

As the others have said coins are now worthless in the site's current state (not that they were that useful before).

I'll be honest I don't know if it's worth hitching on to LootBoy's wagon now, I honestly don't see the site recovering from the state it's in which is a shame for the staff who face unemployment and the longer it stays in this state the harder it will be to pull it out. If you understand and accept these caveats and you have the small-ish amount of time to spare (it takes me about 5 mins to get everything done on the app) and you're prepared to truly grind for diamonds or try your luck on the offerwall and then accept that you're essentially rolling the dice as to what reward you get, then you should probably go ahead and try to get something out of it. In theory you could probably get a single lootpack every month or try to save. In my example I cashed on all my diamonds for packs back in mid September and I only just crossed the 1500 mark again this last week (and I won't pretend it wasn't tedious at times). For me personally, for now the effort isn't too much even though I do wonder when I do cash these out whether I'll get enough to say the effort was warranted.

Apologies for the long wall of text I just wanted to give you as much detail as I could before you make a choice, its not an easy decision as it was even a year ago, let alone 2.5 when I joined up. And please excuse any typos or grammar issues, I'm typing this on my phone on the bus home and Gboard is being too helpful with autocorrect. 😠

On the phone app, do the video watches for diamond pack, the 12 bonus watch vids (6 for silver, then 6 for diamond) and the 1 quest (click for world of warships ad) for 1 diamond. I can get 12-35ish diamonds a day. Then under the offers, web, sort by highest paying, scroll all the way down to 2 and 1 diamond offers, some will work, I can get another 6-30ish diamonds a day that way.
125 diamonds per pack. Only discount is if you can buy 25 packs, it's 2500 diamonds. You can spend 2000 silver on discovery packs, which have a chance of diamonds. Out of 100 packs, I can get maybe 3-12 diamonds, but there's been times opening 100 and I get 0 or 1 diamond total, best ever was about 18-22 for 100 packs. Scrap cards for 100 silver each, or 10 if scratched. Most games left aren't great. There's still some okay stuff. When opening diamond/ticket packs on phone app, you might get an option to trade game for diamonds.
I've got 130 "Yellow cards" in my collection, 127 are actually games, 122-1244 or so steam games. Two cards were actually for diamonds, one was 100, one was 125.
I have spent money, but not more than $40-50 total, and most of that was 3 months of the monthly pass, or during a event where 1 pack had 3 games in it.
There's also the "play" section, all the way at the bottom of that is a playtime button/banner. You can install an app/game and just sheer playtime/time open will award diamonds. I got a lot from Tiktok - 1,393, Alibaba - 268. The next tiktok stage would be 488 minutes for 56 diamonds, so stopped, last I did was 200 mins for 56 diamonds.

To be fair the app was always a bit sluggish at the best of times. But for me clearing the cache and restarting the app usually makes it smoother for a while, sometimes restarting the device entirely if need be. There's also an option to reduce animations, though I personally never noticed much difference when I experimented with it once. As a nuclear option you could clear cache, user data and uninstall/reinstall the app and see if that makes a difference.
For me it's become sluggish at preparing ads for the video lootpacks since the insolvency began, most other functions I've found still work ok as long as your internet is adequate. People's experience will vary of course, I simply don't use the app as much as I used to before.
