Gemini Rue was good. Really good, even with the bit of pixel-hunting I had to deal with. Most puzzles also made a lot of sense, such as using your foot to pry a pipe or break open a window, and using the hand command to push a button. The last hour or so was also one of my favorites. I won't spoil it, but this game goes into topics such as memory and self. Its themes are really engaging, especially for one with memory issues and questions about one's self.

I highly recommend it to those of you who love point and click adventure games. 8/10.

Lightfish was really eh. Ehhh. I mostly hated how long it takes to respawn, and the fact that you can't customize controls. Disabled people need this option to use their various special controllers.

But other than that? I had a bit of fun. 6/10.

Wow. I had put off playing Spiritfarer because I was worried about how it would affect me. I just can't finish it. I know it's just a game and I can start it over whenever but I just can't let go yet. I might put off getting to the end of the story for a few weeks

Armed with Wings: Rear. Aftertaste: Entered the giveaway because graphically game reminded me of "A Walk in the Dark" and "Mark of the Ninja", both of them I liked a lot. I was expecting it to be more of a platformer/puzzle game (because of the bird). Turned out it is more of a grindy action game. Story line was uninteresting and unintriguing. Fighting was good after I learned how to make combos and opened some good swords. Didn't like that at first I was straggling to progress in campaign because my attacks were to weak and that lead to unnecessary grinding to open better swords. Once I have got a really good sword - difficulty dropped significantly. And once I learned that after getting all relics you can beat a special level and get access to a god-like character... Well, that It devalued all past work. With this character you can rush through all levels on basic difficulty without any problems (I tried final boss on lvl 40 with this character and beatn it in 3 minutes or so). And on hard difficulty you also car rush all levels, but in last boss fight die from 3 missed blows (aslo tried finall level from mission picker). My overall experience was 6/10. I enjoyed playing the game, but not ready to grind all the achievements. Can recommend only for genre lovers.

FAR: Lone Sails. Aftertaste: First play run was a charm.I enjoyed mechanics, graphics and tension in couple of places. It was really interesting. Second run (to get "finish game under 90 minutes" achievement) was also good as I got even more tension because of time pressure. But after that I had to farm miles to get last achievement That is a piece of stupid achievement for such a game. There is no content to play it for that long... At first you are trying to manage resources, avoid threats... But once you know that game is 100% scripted and that you can burn engine 100% of time (you get more stuff to burn then you actually need) - there is nothing you can still enjoy. Still 4/5 - can recommend at least to play once.

I'll be continuing my unfinished win of Tomb Raider under the Exploration Tag. I've actually never played the tomb raider games, before. This being my first foray into the series. Liking it so far except for the gun fights. Puzzles are pretty short and interesting :)

o have a question.

I have been playing Sunless Sea.

the thing Is, its dosnt have an "end", you can keep playing it forever.
basically, you are a captian of a sea ship, and you need to explore all the sea. the game has a lot, really a lot, of ways to die, and at my first 5 or 6 deads, I restart from "new game" becouse there is an option to choose a "legend" by making click on a list. but I didnt unsderstand whats was that for until a can travel more far away from the initial base.
its has great stories, like a lot of text and to unsderstand them, I use notepad, for the island location, whats its needed to make the options "selectionables", resourses needed to go to there and come back (the full travel), character needed to speak or interact before and after.
so, the game Is great, its needed a lot of patience to keep one eye on fuel, food, and terror all the time. if you run without Fuel, you die, if you run out of food the crew go mad and kill you, if terror Is too much, a few crew go mad and kill others, you have to choose if dead bodyes are going to be food for others (canivalism) or throw them away to sea.
all the game you have to make choose all the time to see whats happends, or if its unlocks something new on another island
at first Is intresting, and exausting,.... but when you go a little more far away and meet a new island, first thing that comes to your mind Is "lets see whats the problem here and how no not die"
its have a "manual save" that helps a Lot.

so... recomended game btw... but,... its have not a lineal ending, most of diyng are the end of the game, its even have (if you look at archivements) 2 "Easy" ones if you know what to do in a quick run (less than an hour) and one can get "I am the captian of my soul" and "A past wreathed in Shadows" archivements, but you need to know the best Easy way to get money fast

so, i dont know if its feets here, as played, becouse its have explorarion tag and games with ice, isles, snow, fire, fish.

pros: the stories are intresting, not all, but a good amount of them.
cons: its to slow, every time you die and start from the begining, even with some legacies from your previus captian, the ship Is slow to travel, resourses are dificult to get "again", must have and strategy to re.made the firsts travels to get money so you can get a better ship to travel more far away, and even then, its keep being slow
